I was invited by the English professors' coordinator to have lunch with them tomorrow afternoon at Lycée Michelet in Vanves. It's a small ride for me by tram, and I'm looking forward to meeting those with whom I will soon be working.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I love getting in touch with American expatriates because I feel like if I play my card right I could stay in paris longer and I need all the advice I can get (especially about completing a master in Paris)! I'm happy to hear you be teaching English, the main reason I am in Paris is to be a teaching assistant for some primary schools in Fontenay-sous-Bois. I've been an English teacher before back home, so we'll see how this goes! Be sure to keep following my blog and I will keeps tabs on yours!
...who knows, maybe we'll bump into each other on the street somewhere!
Me, I'm in Vanves, teaching at Lycée Michelet. A bit far from Fontenay-sous-Blois.
Don't hesitate to ask me if you have any question regarding your interest in staying, university procedures, etc.! I have experience doing academic exchanges with two French universities... and I'm excited to be starting my Master's here! I hope I can make it through to the end.
I'll definitely keep an eye on your blog. I'm interested in the experiences of other Americans abroad.
Salut!!!
